At WDF Inc., we are firmly committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all of our employees. We are steadfast in our efforts to work in a manner that ensures the safety of our contractors, our clients and their staff, the general public, and also to protect the facilities we work in, the equipment we work on, and the environment.

It is the belief of all WDF Inc. employees that Safety should be managed like any other aspect of our business, utilizing the following principals:

• All incidents and injuries are preventable
• Management is responsible to provide a safe work environment and to lead by example
• No WDF Inc. employee is required to work at-risk or around unsafe conditions.
• Planning and executing work safely at WDF Inc. is a condition of employment

So, in order to reach our goals, every reasonable effort shall be made by all WDF Inc. employees to promote an incident-free environment through pre-planning, sound design and work practices, personnel training, and overall compliance with applicable domestic regulations and industry standards. Our EHS Management Plan supports our Corporate-wide goal, which is to provide an Incident Free work environment.

While the ultimate success of our Safety Program depends on individual support and participation, the responsibility for Safety is shared throughout WDF Inc.

Senior Management is tasked with the responsibility to plan Safety into daily work activities, and provide adequate resources to ensure all requirements, standards and best practices are implemented.

Every WDF Inc. employee is expected to uphold the company-wide safety principles and standards. Our Safety Program applies to all WDF Inc. employees; each manager, supervisor and employee is responsible for their implementation of the program. 

Although we have achieved an exceptional Safety Record, we continue to strive for improvement. No task is so important or so urgent that we cannot take the time to do it safely. “Safety First” isn’t just our motto, it’s the way WDF Inc. does business.
