Project Description

The historic Lawrence and Eris Field Building renovation brought the institution’s treasured building up to date after almost a century of service. The project consisted of structural work, exterior and interior construction and finishes, elevator rehabilitation, and selective demolition. There will be a partial renovation of the cellar, lobby upgrade, and added MEP systems inclusive of security, informational technologies, and audio/visual. Among the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades was the installation of a new ConEdison vault to address the building’s electricity source, which was maxed out in its current state. Throughout the duration of the multi-phased renovation, the building remained occupied and functional.
