Project Description

The Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center, located in northern Manhattan, offers students an ultra-modern learning environment equipped with advanced technology spanning 14 stories and 110,000 square feet. The student center’s key features include a clinical simulation center with examination rooms and operating theatres, an anatomy quad where students perform dissections on cadavers, and a 275-seat auditorium. WDF’s HVAC and Airside divisions fully executed the installation of the facility’s air distribution equipment, duct work, outlets, and air handling units. Three mechanical equipment rooms on the second, third, and fifteenth floors were constructed to support all components of the heating and cooling systems.
