The Brooklyn Facility Project consists of Design-Build services for a fully functional, operational, and easily maintainable new Facility to meet all programmatic requirements set forth by the NYC Department of Corrections (NYCDOC). The Brooklyn Facility will be located at 275 Atlantic Avenue, the site of the former Brooklyn Detention Center, and will provide 1040 new beds for persons in custody. The full-block site is approximately 59,900 square feet and an underground parking garage will provide 292 parking spaces for DOC staff.
