Project Description

WDF provided mechanical and plumbing subcontracting services for the 365,000-square-foot retail center at the World Trade Center complex. The complex combines diverse retail, community, and cultural space in one landmark setting. Distributed throughout Tower 1, Tower 2, Tower 3, Tower 4, and the Oculus are various storefronts, restaurants, showrooms, and event spaces. The plumbing includes sanitary storm water piping, fixtures, and pump systems for all stores, and drinking fountains and toilet rooms in the buildings’ shared space. The HVAC work included the heating and chilled water piping that led to each store throughout the site.
